ReCAP’s response to COVID-19
ReCAP continues to support its partners and other stakeholders with implementing relevant applied research for the advancement of rural access in Africa and Asia.
As part of the UK Department for International Development’s (DFID) response to COVID-19, ReCAP and the Applied Research Programme in High Volume Transport (HVT) have established a COVID-19 Response & Recovery Transport Research Fund. A total budget of £1 million has been made available jointly by the ReCAP and HVT programmes for this Challenge Fund. The deadline for submission is Monday, 8 June 17.00h (BST). Details about the call for Project Concept Notes, including clarifications, can be found here.
Furthermore, ReCAP duly follows the advice and guidance from the UK Government, through the UK Department for International Development (DFID), the World Health Organisation and Cardno’s corporate COVID-19 Incident Management Team to ensure our continuity planning is managed responsibly and adaptively in a very dynamic and changing operating environment.
